This website was made in conjunction with the Ladies’ Latest Newsletter with one common goal: Keeping you up to date on women’s golf news in the Carolinas, keeping you informed about upcoming playing opportunities, and providing interesting stories that YOU want to hear about!
This website and the Ladies’ Latest Newsletter are powered by the Carolinas Golf Association. The Carolinas Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization founded in 1909 whose mission is to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to clubs and golfers.
Maggie Watts
I have been with the CGA as the Director of Women’s Golf since 2015. I’m originally from Lexington, Kentucky (Go Cats!), but I love calling the Carolinas my home. My favorite thing about my job is meeting so many wonderful women golfers and calling some of the most beautiful courses in the world my office for the day. When I’m not running golf tournaments, I’m usually visiting my family in Kentucky, Ohio and Virginia, baking, riding my Peloton bike or reading a good book. Have a question or book recommendation? Madison Balfe
I started at the CGA as an intern in 2019 and have worked my way up to the Director of Communications and Marketing. I’m from Atlanta, Georgia and of course a big fan of the Dawgs! Photography is my passion and being able to do it for a living out on golf courses has created my dream job here at the CGA. When I’m not working on our website or social media pages, you can find me watching rom coms, trying out new recipes (with real butter of course) or visiting my family down in Georgia.
